HINDI PLAY 'GHAR GUM HAI' WINS THIRD PRIZE IN SHIMLA FESTIVAL

AKS brought laurels to the area by winning the third best drama title in the 68th All India Dance and Drama Competition organized by All India Artist Association at Shimla. Several teams from different states participated in the competition.

AKS President Mangat Verma and Press Secretary Raghav Nagpal said that AKS presented Hindi play 'Ghar Gum Hai' written by eminent Punjabi playwrightDr. Pali Bhupinder and directed by Deepak Kamboj in the festival.

During its presentation, the audience kept clapping repeatedly on the dialogues. The jury not only declared the play as the third best of the competition but also congratulated the entire team for the beautiful presentation.

Mangat Verma, Deepak Kamboj, Anjam Gulati, Abhijeet Wadhwa, Jyotsna Kamboj, Manchita Verma, Laranya Gulati, Sandeep Verma, Kanchi Garg, Rajni Bala, Sehaj, Sidak got a lot of applause for their good performance.Playback singer Niti Raj, music director Sunil Jangid, music operator Saksham Narula, set designer Bobby Sandha, Manjeet Ubi, Vishant Miglani and off the stage artist Dhvani Gulati were also very supportive. Sehaj Verma and Jasmine Gandhi participated in Solo Kathak dance competition and won second position.
