UTCA Women's Domestic T20 Cricket Tournament started at Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, Chandigarh on Tuesday.
In the first match of the tournament, Rock Zone registered a resounding 79-run win over Rose Zone. Rock Zone won the toss to bat first and scored 202 runs wherein Soumya and Kavya scored 28 runs each.
Khushi added 23 runs. In reply, lethal bowling attack by Stuti Sharma (3/16) and Aastha (2/15) made Rose Zone all out for 123 runs in the 38th overs. Ganika Bansal (16) was the top scorer for the team while Deepti Walia contributed 14 runs.
