Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarewal has declared a holiday on 22nd September 2023 in connection with the celeberation of Vivah Parv (marriage) of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Baba Nanak.
According to the orders issued by Deputy Commissioner, this holiday will be held in Batala Sub Division only and all schools, colleges and offices will remain closed on this day.
It may add that Banks will remain open on 22nd September, whereas there will be no holiday in educational institutions where examinations are going on.
