Shree Saini, the first Indian American to win the title of Miss World America, flew all the way from Washington to Ohio to support Brown Ballers.

This summer, basketball history was made in an electrifying display of determination, grit, and undeniable skill. India Rising, the pride of brown basketball, stormed to a remarkable victory over the tournament's #1 seed, marking the biggest upset in the history of ESPN's illustrious $1 Million Basketball Tournament. Entering the competition as the #8 seed, India Rising displayed an unmatched level of focus and a stunning level of teamwork and shot making that left spectators in awe. Their victory not only reshaped the tournament's landscape but also set an unprecedented milestone in the realm of international basketball.

India Rising is the only Indian-origin basketball team to compete in ESPN's $1 Million Basketball Tournament, carrying the dreams of an entire demographic on their shoulders and shattering stereotypes along their journey. The team's performance is a source of inspiration for aspiring athletes in India, its diaspora, and around the world, setting a precedent that with perseverance and dedication, nothing is impossible.

"We are immensely proud of our performance last night," said GM, [Gautam Kapur]. "This victory is a testament to the immense talent, relentless dedication, and unwavering spirit of our team. India Rising is not just a basketball team; we are a symbol of hope and a source of inspiration for brown athletes worldwide."

"@navinramharak @gautamgkapur @shubhidobopop you all have redefined love and generosity. They have collectively invested $150,000 in the BrownBallers community, out of their own pockets. They give the gifts of hope and encouragement, which are acts of service. Brown people and any person with a vision and consistent persistence, can excel in any field," said Shree on her Instagram.
