Special Drive against heinous cases Proclaimed Offenders continuous under directionsof SSP, four absconders/proclaimed offenders including one PO involved in 4 years old Sexual harassment PO in 2 years old attempt to murder and Arms Act.

PO in 04 years old case of Excise Act, PO in 02 years old case of voluntarily causes grievous hurt, in police net. In a major breakthrough, PO & Summon staff of Chandigarh Police under the directions of SSP/U.T. Chandigarh and SP City, UT, Chandigarh in the supervision of Sh. Dilsher Singh, Dy. SP DCC and team headed by Sh. Hari Om Sharma, Inspector/Incharge PO & Summon staff is able to arrest 4 absconders/proclaimed offenders.

Arrest of Accused/Proclaimed Offender: With the help of collection of informationfrom different sources (technical & human) and a day/night search. Theabsconders/proclaimed offenders have been arrested with secret information of informer and all the sincere efforts of ASI Balwinder Singh 1728/CP, ASI DineshKumar 3305/CP, ASI Birbhan 3334/CP, ASI Karan Singh 3699/CP, Sr. CJitender 551/CP, Sr. C Narveer 880/Cp Sr. C. Vipin Sharma 2345/CP, Sr.C. Hardeep 2506/CP, C.Sanjay Kumar 3735/CP, C. Omkar Singh 1571/CP, C. Ranjit 5286/CP, C. Vakil 4933/CP, C. Parveen 3875/CP, Vol. Jang Singh 415.

The Master Technical & Monitoring Cell of Chandigarh Police provided continuous assistance to locate the accused and helped the police officials of PO & Summon Staff:

The state case accused namely Shyam S/o Subhash R/o # 568, Bhoot Colony, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh has been arrested from Village Kheri, DeraBassi, Punjab, in case FIR No. 123 dated 15.10.2021, U/s 323,324, 307, 34 IPC&24, 54, 59 Arms Act, PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh.

The case was registeredonthecomplaint of Sunny S/o Rajinder Kumar R/o # 2337, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, who stated that on the day of incident at about 7.00 PM, he alongwith hisknownperson was standing near Wine Shop, Vikas Nagar, Village Mauli, Chandigarh.

The person namely Aneet and Shyamji came to them with two other boys. Aneetand Shyamji started arguing with him and suddenly Aneet stabbed a knife to him. When his known person namely Sonu tried to save him the other personnamelyShyamji hit Sonu on his head with a bear bottle and they sped away from the spot. They got injured and were taken to hospital. Later the case was registered against accused and Shyam got absent before the Hon’ble Court andhewasdeclared PO by the Hon’ble

Court of Sh. Rajnish, ADJ, Chandigarh videorderdated 03.07.2023. The accused produced before the Hon’ble Court andsent tojudicial custody. A dedicated team of PO Staff was chasing the accusedfor theone month.

The proclaimed offender was continuously changing his locations. The team raided at his various suspected hide outs in Chandigarh and Mohali. Finally after uphill struggle the accused was arrested and produced beforetheHon’ble Court.

The state case accused namely Neeraj S/o Raj Singh R/o # 2022, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh has been arrested from Preet Nagar, Kalka, Haryana, in case FIRNo. 115 dated 19.09.2021, U/s 323, 325, 341, 34 IPC, PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh.

The case was re gistered on the complaint of Radhey Shyam S/o Muni Lal R/o#2398, Mauli Complex, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh, who reported that on 17.09.2021 when he alongwith his children was walking in the park near #4210, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh, the person namely Annu and his brother inlaw beaten him. Later the case was registered against accused and accused Neeraj got absent before the Hon’ble Court. He was declared PO by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Jaspreet Singh Minhas, JMIC, Chandigarh vide order dated 14.06.2023.

The accused produced before the Hon’ble Court and sent to judicial custody.

The state case accused namely Varinder Singh Negi S/o Vikram Singh R/o #2617, Sector 28 C, Chandigarh has been arrested from Sector-29, Chandigarh, in case FIR No. 158 dated 07.06.2019, U/s 354-D(1)(ii), 509 IPC, PS-39, Chandigarh. The case was registered on the complaint of Raman Wassan Sector-37, Chandigarh, who reported that she is working in play way smart school sector 37 A, Chandigarh.

A guy named Varinder Singh Negi was working the reasa photocopier mechanic. He started creating nuisance in school by callingmeagain and again and creating a lot of mentally disturbance for me. Hestartedcoming in front of my house and creating nuisance there also. I complainedmany times against him after feeling sorry next day he started his nuisanceagain. He was moved out from the job by his employer.

Once he broke theglassof my car and the glass of my school bus which was outside the school. I gavean application to sector-39 police station. His mother and sister in lawcamethere and promised this will not happen again, but still the same processisgoingon after giving in writing that he will never call me, he is still doing the same. I  blocked his number but still his calls are there from many numbers. I switched off my number, he start calling to my grocers, medical shop and all the shops where I went, in school also he is calling to the principal and uses abusivelanguage against me and my family. We face this problemduring the periodof March to August every day.

Later the case was registered against accusedandaccused got absent before the Hon’ble Court. He was declared PO by the Hon’bleCourt of Sh. Chetesh Gupta, JMIC, Chandigarh vide order dated 19.08.2023. Theaccused produced before the Hon’ble Court and sent to judicial custody. 4.

The State case accused namely Harinder Singh @ DC S/o Chamkaur SinghR/oVillage Sidhwan kalan, PS-Jagraon, Distrcit Ludhiana has been arrestedfromVillage Sidhwan Kalan, Ludhiana in case FIR No 128, date 10.06.2019U/s61-1- 14 Excise Act, PS 26, Chandigarh. The case was registered on the complaint ofSI Parvinder Singh 1224, who stated that on the secret information of informerhe alongwith other police officials set up naka near Gate No. 3, Police Line, Sector-26, Chandigarh.

Information was received that a white colour IvnnovacarBearing No. PB-11-CB-7951 was carring Desi wine. At about 5.20 PM the Innova car bearing the same registration No. came. The car was stoppedandafterinspection 50 peti of desi wine recovered from car.

The driver could not produceany license or permission regarding it. Later the case was registeredagainstaccused, who got absent before the Hon’ble Court and he was declaredPObythe Hon’ble Court of Sh. Rahul Garg, ACJM, Chandigarh vide order dated04.09.2023.
