MOCKS KEJRIWAL'S PATIALA AS ATTEMPT TO HOODWINK PUNJABIS WITH HOLLOW PROPAGANDA AND EMPTY LIES, "PUNJABIS HAVE ELECTED BHAGWANT MANN AS CM AND STATE GOVT SHOULD NOT NEED AN OUTSIDER FOR INAUGURATIONS" SAYS JAKHAR, CAUTIONS TAKING ON MORE LOAN TO PAY OFF INTEREST ON DEBT SURE SHOT RECIPE FOR FINANCIAL RUIN

Targetting the State Government for enacting a cruel joke on Punjabis in name of 'Sehatmand Punjab', the Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar on Tuesday stated that it all Bhagwant Mann dispensation has to show for its massive 50,000 Crore loan in name of 'Sehatmand Punjab' is a 10-bedded refurbished hospital ward and a renovated school building.
Taking a dig at AAP's desperation to seek credit for acts which are otherwise part of the government's bounden duty, Jakhar said Bhagwant Mann ji has been elected by Punjabis and he should not depend on an outside CM for inaugurations. It seems Delhi CM with his domeneering attitude trying to step into Punjab CM's shoes, Jakhar quipped.
"Is Punjab without a Chief Minister that we need to call a CM from another state for inaugurations" Jakhar quipped. Cautioning against lowering the prestige of Punjab CM Chair, the veteran Punjab leader said it was regretful that as many as 700 state-run buses, thousands of state teachers and officials were forced to make the Patiala visit of Delhi CM look like a success.
Jakhar reminded the Government of a Cancer Hospital set up in Mohali during the PM visit without any unnecessary fan fare, Lest this government forgets, just recently tender has been floated for a 100-bedded PGI Satellite Centre in Ferozepur but there was no facade or credit seeking exercise by anyone, Jakhar said. Even the CM's own district Sangrur has an AIIMS Centre, Jakhar said while referring to the pomp and show indulged in by AAP over 10-bedded ward inauguration by Delhi CM, Jakhar noted.

Taking on AAP for hoodwinking innocent voters of Punjab, Jakhar said it is the same party which had guaranteed that teachers will not be given any work except teaching work. People of Punjab have seen through this smokescreen of fake propaganda and lies and are waiting for a chance to throw this inept regime out of power, Jakhar underlined.
Reacting to AAP's statement over state government failure to contain Alcohol being smuggled into Punjab, Jakhar said he can give proof of state government officers' complicity with alcohol mafia operating from inside the jails. I can provide phone numbers of those involved in smuggling of alcohol into Punjab from Chandigarh and of those complicit in this illegal trade.
Taking on the AAP leadership, Jakhar asked what happened to the promise of generating Rs. 40 to 50,000 crores of additional revenue from transparent sand auctioning, reformed liquor policy and other avenues. This government has failed utterly on each parameter and the whipping debt on Punjab should worry every Punjabi, Jakhar added. If we only keep paying off interest on debt by taking more of the loan it is a sure shot recipe for financial ruin, Jakhar warned.
Taking on the state government for its failure to control drug abuse, Jakhar while referring to state government affidavit in Court said that as per state government's admission 266 overdose deaths which as per the National Crime Bureau data stand at 310 in one and half years of AAP misrule. So much for Sehatmand Punjab' under AAP, Jakhar underlined.
