BSF officers exchanged sweets and fruits with Pak Rangers on the festival of lights Diwali at Sadqi border post near Fazilka.
Border Area Development Front senior activist Lila Dhar Sharma said that BSF Coy Commandant JK Singh exchanged sweets and fruits with Nisar Ali, a senior officer of Pak Rangers, and both prayed for peace and harmony in the sub-continent. The personnel of the 55 Bn BSF had tastefully decorated the retreat ceremony complex.
Hundreds of visitors, who reached to enjoy the ceremony, celebrated Deepawali with lights and lamps and offered sweets to the saviors of the Indian border.
