Punjab;s Bhagwant Mann government has declared December 28 as a government holiday in the state. The government has issued a notification in this regard.
According to the notification, keeping in mind the Shaheedi Sabha, Thursday will be a gazetted holiday in all government offices, boards, corporations, government institutions and educational institutions of the state.
