HOME MINISTER DIRECTS TO SUSPEND THE IO POSTED KURUKSHETRA AT ADARSH POLICE STATION FOR NOT REGISTERING THE BIKE SNATCHING CASE

HOME MINISTER DIRECTS PALWAL SP TO TAKE PROMPT ACTION ON A SOLDIER'S COMPLAINT, HOME MINISTER ANIL VIJ LISTENED TO THE PROBLEMS OF PEOPLE AT AMBALA

Haryana Home and Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij has directed the SP Kurukshetra to suspend the IO (Investigation Officer) of Kurukshetra Adarsh police station for not registering a case in the case of snatching of bike and cash in Kurukshetra.

Sh. Vij gave these directions while listening to the problems of hundreds of people from many districts of the state at his residence in Ambala today.

The complainant, who came from village Barwa, Kurukshetra, while giving a complaint to the Home Minister, said that a few months ago, he had gone to LNJP Hospital in Kurukshetra for treatment, but three people beat him up and snatched cash and his bike.

He also recognized the two accused and had complained to Adarsh police station on the same day of the incident. His complaint was with an IO and the IO kept giving him the promise of registering a case and to date, the police have not registered a case.

Taking strict cognizance of this matter, the Home Minister called the SP Kurukshetra and directed him to suspend the concerned IO with immediate effect, and register a case and investigate.

In another complaint filed by a soldier, the Home Minister directed the Palwal SP to take action against the complaint immediately.

In another complaint, regarding cheating in the case of selling JCB, the Home Minister directed the SP Hisar to constitute SIT.

Similarly, the complaints regarding theft case, domestic violence cases and other cases were put before the Home Minister, taking strict cognizance of the same he gave directions to the concerned officers to take immediate action.

On this occasion, DSP Ambala Cantonment, Sh. Ashish Chaudhary and other officers were present.
