Expressing his heartfelt happiness over the awarding Bharat Ratna to former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishan Advani, the head of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, Mahant Swami ji Maharaj has sent a congratulatory message and best wishes for his health.

Senior saint Dharmavatsal Swami and in-charge of Delhi Akshardham Munivatsal Swami especially reached the residence of Shri Advani. During the discussion of the memoirs related to the organization, it surfaced that about 25 years ago, when the Pramukhswami ji Maharaj came for satsang at Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Gujarat Vihar, Delhi on a two-week stay, Shri Advani had an hour-long meeting with him. Swamiji had discussed various aspects of the plan to develop Akshardham with Shri Advani before inspecting the land on the banks of Yamuna River.

Apart from giving blessings to Shri Advani for the Rath Yatra, Pramukhswami ji Maharaj had also first performed Shila pujan for the construction of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. Shri Advani participated many times in various BAPS functions including the opening of Akshardham in Delhi.
