HARYANA GOVERNOR CONGRATULATES THE VICE CHANCELLOR FOR GETTING A++ GRADE FROM NAAC

Haryana Governor and Chancellor of Kurukshetra University, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya said that by getting an A++ grade from NAAC, Kurukshetra University has added another milestone to its name. With this, Kurukshetra University has become one of the top institutions in the country and the first university in the list of 21 government universities in Haryana to be awarded the A++ grade by NAAC. This is the biggest achievement in the history of Kurukshetra University. The NAAC team inspected seven aspects, in which Kurukshetra University received mostly good scores.
Meanwhile, Vice Chancellor Professor Somnath Sachdeva and Registrar Professor Sanjeev Sharma today paid a courtesy visit to the Governor at Haryana Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh. During this, he congratulated them for achieving an A++ grade. The Governor also congratulated the university's teachers, officers, employees, alumni, and students.
The Governor said that Kurukshetra University has performed excellently in the assessment based on academic, research, cultural, sports, and various achievements. Better facilities have been provided by the university in department-wise progress reports, hostels, administrative offices, educational facilities, University Education NEP-2020, research, and innovations.
He said that the steps taken by the university in the context of National Education Policy-2020, including admission of students from all corners of the country and abroad, patents, MOUs, high-level scientific laboratories, distance and online education centres, library, health centre, Heritage Haryana Museum, Rusa, University Auditorium, Water Harvesting System, No Vehicle Day every Tuesday, Green Campus, and points to keep the environment safe, have greatly influenced the NAAC team, based on which, the inspection conducted by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council from September 13 to 15, 2023, Kurukshetra University has been awarded an A++ grade with a score of 3.56.
