UNVEILED A SIGNIFICANT INTERNATIONAL FAKE VISA SCAM WITH THIS ARREST, AFFIXED FAKE KUWAIT VISA ON THE PASSPORT OF UNSUSPECTING PASSENGERS, AIR TICKET BOOKING AGENT IN A COMPANY AT MUMBAI EARLIER, PAX WERE DEPORTED FROM KUWAIT, RESTRICTED AT KUWAIT AIRPORT DUE TO FAKE VISA.

Staff of PS IGI Airport arrested one agent Ahsan Haider Khan S/o Wakeel Hasan Khan R/o Village-Tighara, PS Khutahan, District-Jaunpur, UP-223104, Age-38 Years in Case FIR No. 191/2022, Dated 21.05.2022, U/S 420/468/471/120B IPC & 12 PP Act, PS IGI Airport, New Delhi. He was involved in a syndicate which used to allure victims on the pretext of sending people abroad by offering approved Passports/Visas of foreign countries on lucrative prices. In this case, they promised to send both pax to Kuwait and provided fake Visa of Kuwait to them in lieu of handsome amount. They started cheating innocent people in order to earn windfall money.
The facts of the case are that on 21-05-2022, two Indian pax arrived at IGI Airport from Kuwait by a flight as deportee. On scrutiny of their travel documents, it was found that both pax namely Meesam Ali S/o Anasar Husain R/o Village-Sharqi, Sambhal, UP Age 29 yrs and Askari Abbas S/o Zeeshan Husain R/o HN-59, Mohalla Sharqi, Sambhal, UP Age 31 yrs were departed to Kuwait on 20/05/2022.
At Kuwait Airport, their entry was restricted as their Kuwait Visa's stamps were found forged and both of them were deported to IGI Airport. As pax cheated the Immigration by using forged visa to travel to Kuwait, a Case FIR No. 191/2022, Dated 21.05.2022, U/S 420/468/471/120B IPC & 12 PP Act, PS IGI Airport, New Delhi was registered accordingly and investigation of the case was taken up.
Usha Rangnani, IPS, DCP, IGI Airport, said, during course of investigation of the case, both pax Meesam Ali and Askari Abbas were arrested in the case. On interrogation of accused, they disclosed that they are cousins and wanted to go abroad to Kuwait for earning livelihood. They came in touch with one agent namely Ahsan Haider Khan who promised them to send to Kuwait in lieu of handsome amount. The accused persons further disclosed that agent Ahsan Haider Khan along with the help of his associates booked his flight ticket, arranged stay arrangement and arranged fake Kuwait Visa on their passports.

During course of further investigation, efforts were made to nab the agent, but despite best efforts, he could not be traced.
Based on an input and to nab the absconding agents, a dedicated team led by Insp. Vijender Rana, SHO/IGI Airport, comprising of SI Ashok and Ct Deepak was constituted under the close supervision of ACP/IGI Airport and overall supervision of the undersigned. The team was briefed properly and tasked to nab the absconding agent at the earliest.
After sincere and dedicated efforts of the team, absconding agent Ahsan Haider Khan S/o Wakeel Hasan Khan R/o Village-Tighara, PS Khutahan, District-Jaunpur, UP-223104, Age-38 Years was arrested from one of his hideouts in Jaunpur, UP.
The accused confessed his crime and disclosed that he has been studied up to 10th class and is working as a farmer. Earlier, he had worked in a company of air ticket booking in Mumbai for 3-4 years where he had come in connection with some agents who used to dupe people in the name of sending them abroad. Thereafter, he also engaged in their syndicate and started duping people.
He further confessed that he arranged ticket booking of the pax and made arrangement of their journey to Kuwait and also affixed fake Kuwait Visa on their passports with the help of his associates. Accused Ahsan Haider Khan disclosed that he started cheating innocent people in order to earn easy money.
Investigation of the case is in progress to unearth the involvement of other agents and to scrutinize bank accounts of the accused and to trace his possible involvement in other similar complaints/cases also. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
