keeping in view security scenario of city in connection with upcoming Lok Sabha Elections -2024, Operations Cell of Chandigarh Police, under the directions of Sh. Mridul, IPS, SP Operations, under the close supervision of Sh. Jasbir Singh, DSP Operations and under the guidance of Sh. Sher Singh, In-charge Operations Cell, Sector-26, has conducted the Mock Exercise at Art Gallery Museum, Sector-10
Chandigarh. In which all emergencies services/ units are participated timely.
During Mock drill, area of Art Gallery Museum, Sector-10 Chandigarh was cordoned off and got evacuated by Commandos of Operations Cell. A thorough search along with bomb detection squad and dog squad was carried out and the dummy bomb was traced out successfully, but no other suspected person/ item came to notice. Further traced dummy bomb has safely taken to open ground of Police Lines, Sector-26, Chandigarh in a sand bags truck along with pilot and escort of PCR vehicles for defusing the same.
