BSF APPREHENDED ONE PAKISTANI NATIONAL IN THE BORDER AREA OF AMRITSAR DISTRICT

Border Security Force (BSF) vigilant troops on duty observed a suspicious movement ahead of border fence in Amritsar district. Swiftly responding to the situation, the troops cordoned off the area and successfully apprehended a suspected person at 6:05 pm on Sunday.

The person apprehended ahead of the border fence in the outskirts of Roranwala village in Amritsar district has been identified as a Pakistani national. Upon search, he was found in possession of two mobile phones, a total 840 rupees in Pakistani currency of different denominations and one Pakistani national identity card. 

After initial questioning, BSF handed over the individual to the Punjab Police for further investigation.

This incident underscores the professionalism and efficiency of the vigilant BSF troops in safeguarding the borders and preventing unauthorized entry into Indian territory, added BSF Spokesman at Punjab Frontier HQ at Jalandhar.
