A team of Special Cell, New Delhi Range led by Insp. Shiv Kumar and Insp. Satish Rana, supervised by ACP Lalit Mohan Negi and ACP Hridya Bhushan has arrested/apprehended ten operatives of Goldy Brar-Lawrence Bisnoi syndicate including one desperate CCL/juvenile from seven Indian States while they were conspiring to execute killing/heinous crime in Delhi and other states.

Some of the arrested persons are previously involved in criminal activities at the behest of Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bisnoi. Total 7 Pistols with 25 live cartridges were recovered from their possession. Two have been arrested from Delhi, one from Rajasthan, one from Madhya Pradesh, two from UP, two from Punjab, one from Haryana and one from Bihar.

The Special Cell diligently tracks the criminal endeavors of various gangsters. It has been noticed that many gangsters are orchestrating egregious crimes such as extortion, murder, and attempt to murder from overseas hideouts, leveraging their connections and henchmen in India.

Moreover, some notorious criminals are orchestrating their criminal activities even while incarcerated, utilizing their network of contacts beyond prison walls.

To gather information about these gangsters and also their criminal activities and to dismantle this network, sources are cultivated on regular basis and technical and manual surveillance is also mounted. In these relentless efforts, reliable inputs were received that an interstate module of extortionists/contract killers/shooters operating at the behest of notorious gangsters Lawrence Bisnoi, lodged in Jail and Satinderjeet Singh @Goldy Brar, based abroad is very active in Delhi, NCR and adjoining states for committing offences of extortions, killings and other heinous crimes.

Some of the Members of this crime syndicate have also been previously involved/wanted in many heinous crimes including shootouts, extortion, killings, threatening, assault, hurt etc.While monitoring the activities of this syndicate some incriminatory conversation amongst the members of this syndicate sitting in different states came to notice through technical surveillance wherein they were conspiring to carry out some killing/heinous crime which was further corroborated by source input.

It was also learnt that these gangsters had also procured weapons. To avert the nefarious designs of these members, a case was registered at Special Cell on 24.04.2024 under relevant provisions of IPC. Multiple teams were constituted and dispatched immediately at different locations in all the states where these members were located.

Pratiksha Godara, , IPS, DCP, Special Cell (NDR), Delhi, said, the crackdown was meticulously planned and executed with precision by multiple teams across seven different States. The accused persons were apprehended swiftly and efficiently in coordinated raids. Overall, the crackdown resulted in the swift apprehension of the accused persons across multiple locations.

 Delhi:-i.Accused Jaspreet Singh @ Rahul (age 25 years) r/o VPO Rasulpur Kalan, Distt. Amritsar, Punjab arrested from near Shastri Park Pusta, Delhi on 27.04.24. Recovery -One Pistol of .32 bore with 4 live cartridges.

ii.Accused Dharmendra @ Kartik r/o Village Patra, Post-Sandwa, Distt. Kanpur Dehat, UP, arrested from near Reservation Centre, Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, New Delhi on 27.04.24. Recovery -One single shot pistol of .32 bore and 3 live cartridges.

Haryana- Accused Manjeet (age 24 years) r/o VPO Barota, Sonipat, Haryana & permanent r/o Village Shiwala Khurd, Aligarh, UP, arrested from Village Kheri Dahiya, Distt. Sonipat, Haryana on 30.04.2024.

Punjab-Accused Gurpal Singh (age 26 years) r/o Village Kheri Gujran, Derabassi, Distt. SAS Nagar Mohali, Punjab arrested on 30.04.2024 from Dera Bassi, Mohali, PB, Recovery- Pistol of .32 bore with 6 live cartridges

Manjeet Singh Guri (age 22 years) r/o Village Kheri Gujran, Derabassi, Distt. SAS Nagar Mohali, Punjab, arrested from Dera Bassi, Punjab on 30.04.2024

Rajasthan –Accused Abhay Soni @ Kartik @ Kabir (age 22 Years) r/o Ram Path, Chitrakoot, Jaipur, Rajasthan, arrested from Akshardham Circle, Chitrakoot, Jaipur, Rajasthan on 27.04.24. Recovery- One Pistol of .32 bore with 3 live cartridges

Uttar Pradesh-: Sachin Kumar @ Rahul (age 26 years) s/o Rambaran r/o Azad Traders, Rai Bareilly, UP , arrested from Shakti Puram, Haidel Colony, Sitapur Road, Lucknow, UP on 27.04.24. Recovery-one pistol of .32 bore with 6 live cartridges

One Juvenile, apprehended from Shakti Puram, Haidel Colony, Sitapur Road, Lucknow, UP on 27.04.24. Recovery-one Pistol of .32 bore with 5 live cartridges

Madhya Pradesh-: Accused Santosh @ Sultan Baba (age 20 years) r/o Village Khurrampura, Tehsil Thikri, Distt. Badwani, MP, arrested from Ratlam, Railway Station, MP on 27.04.24. Recovery -One Pistol of .32 bore with four live cartridges.

 Bihar -: Accused Santosh Kumar (age 27 years) R/o Village Musapur, Azizpur Chande, PS Mahisaur, Vaishali, Bihar, arrested from his village on 02.05.2024.

Profile of accused persons:

Manjeet Singh @ Guri – The accused is 22 years old. He studied up to 8th class. He has previously involved in three criminal cases one is of case of Arms Act, attack on police personnel and assault on his co prisoner while lodged in Jail. He was in contact with Goldy Brar through one Ajay Rana from the same area. On the instructions of Goldy Brar, in the month of November, 2023, along with accused Gurpal he had gone to murder a property dealer in Zirakpur, PB as the property dealer refused to give extortion money to Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bisnoi gang. While he and Gurpal were on the way they were intercepted by Police in Zirakpur, they fired on the police team, in retaliation Manjeet sustained bullet injury while Gurpal managed to flee from the spot and was arrested later on.

Gurpal: -The accused is 26 years old. He has studied up to 12th. He has previously been involved in case of attack of police personnel in the year 2023 in Zirakpur, Mohali with accused Manjeet @ Guri.

Jaspreet Singh @ Rahul- The accused is 25 years old. He has studied up to 12th class. He has previously been involved in two criminal cases, one is of NDPS and one is of Arms Act in Amritsar.

Sachin Kumar @ Rahul: -The accused is 26 Years old. He is 12th pass and also did ITI diploma in Electric stream. He has previously been involved in criminal case of robbery in the year 2014 at Kotwali Rai Bareilly, UP. The accused, a weapons supplier, used to supply weapon to the gangsters of Lawrence Bisnoi gang.

Santosh @ Sultan Baba- The accused is 20 years old. He was working as helper in a transport company. He was follower of dreaded gangster Durlabh Kashyap, Ujjain, MP, who was murdered in 2020. Inspired by Durlabh he joined various groups on Facebook and involved himself in criminal activities.

Manjeet (Sonipat) – The accused is 24 years old. He is 9th pass. He was inspired by Lawrence Bisnoi gang and was supplying weapons to the gang members.

Abhay Soni @ Kabir – He is 22 years old. He has studied upto 10th class. His father is gold smith, who faced heavy loss in the business. Due to monetary problem he created a group in the name of Rajasthan Shooters on face book and came in contact with other accused persons for committing robbery and other crimes.

Dharmendra @ Kartik – The accused is 21 years old. He has studied upto 7th class. He was working in Coimbatore in a cold storage. He was also a follower of dreaded gangster Durlabh Kashyap, Ujjain, MP, who was murdered in 2020. Inspired by Durlabh he joined various groups on Facebook and involved himself in criminal activities.

Santosh Kumar – The accused is 27 years old and has done B.Sc. He is weapons supplier and used to supply weapons to the gangsters of Goldy Brar – Lawrence Bisnoi gang.

Investigation is underway to find out the forward and backward linkages of this syndicate.
