Even when CCTV images of two bikers who allegedly looted Rs one lakh from an arhtiya’s shop last Thursday were made available, the broad daylight crime has not been cracked so far. Sources said that cops have been busy with Lok Sabha election related rallies for more than a week, most of them had to go out of the area also to perform security duty.

Abohar police have now released CCTV images of the suspect and sought help from people to identify the miscreants. The police also announced to reward the informant.

Jugal Kishore Nagori had informed that he runs the Arhtiya firm and grocery shop together. Last Thursday when he was sitting at his shop, a landlord came and gave him Rs one lakh, which he kept in his cashbox. As soon as the landlord left, one of the two youths who came riding on a Discover bike entered the shop and saw one lakh rupees kept in the box. Personifying as a customer, one of the bikers did some shopping and then took out cash worth Rs one lakh rupees from the box and fled away riding the bike that his accomplice had parked. This entire incident of loot was captured in CCTV cameras.
