CASE RELATED TO ACCEPTANCE OF Rs. 50,000/- BRIBE FROM COMPLAINANT

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended four accused including Manager (Quality) & two technical assistant (TA) of FCI, Mullanpur Dhaka, Ludhiana (Punjab), and a private person in a case related to acceptance of Rs. 50,000/- bribe from the complainant.
A case was registered on 21.05.2024 by CBI against Manager (Quality) and a Technical Assistant (TA), of FCI, Mullanpur Dhaka, Ludhiana (Punjab) on allegations that said accused Manager (Quality) and TA demanded a bribe of Rs.1,05,000/- @ Rs.3000 per truck from the complainant in lieu of passing consignments of his rice mill.
CBI laid a trap and caught said Manager (Quality) & two Technical Assistant of FCI and a private person during the trap proceedings related to acceptance of Rs. 50,000/- bribe from the complainant.
Searches were conducted at five locations at residential and official premises of the accused during which incriminating documents have been recovered.
Investigation is continuing.
