3 FROM BIKANER HELD WITH RS 13.80 LAKH BOOTY AT ABOHAR

The Wahabwala, during a vehicle search at a checkpoint at Rajpura on the Abohar Hanumangarh road, recovered Rs. 13,80,000 from a Swift Dzire car and arrested three accused who belong to Bikaner. 

DSP (Rural) Sukhwinder Singh Brar said that a police team comprising Inspector Jaswinder Singh, ASI Lal Chand, L/C Kalo Kaur, and Constable Arvind Kumar stopped a Maruti Dzire car (HR-13A-2705) with a driver along with two another person at Rajpura (Hi-tech naka point).

During the search of the vehicle Rupees 13,80,000 in cash was recovered. The police party immediately called the FST to the spot and the cash was handed over to FST for necessary action as per the guidelines of Election Commission. Three apprehended individuals were identified as Babu Khan s/o Askar Ali, Dipender Singh alias Deepak s/o Kalu Singh and Armaan Khan s/o Mohammad Hussain all residents of Bikaner.

Three apprehended individuals were identified as Babu Khan s/o Askar Ali, Dipender Singh alias Deepak s/o Kalu Singh and Armaan Khan s/o Mohammad Hussain all residents of Bikaner. 

He said that the Police party had got an information from secret sources that the cash belonged to three individuals involved in a robbery in Beechwal Bikaner district and a registration of FIR No. 149 dated 21-5-2024 u/s 392,34 IPC is registered against them in Bikaner. Leading to the arrest of all three accused, a FIR No. 42 dated 22-05-2024 u/s 411 IPC was registered in Wahabwala police station. The accused, Babu Khan, Dipender Singh alias Deepak and Armaan Khan are currently under investigation for further links. 

It surfaced that a case of Arms Act is registered against Babu Khan, Dipender Singh @ Deepak has four cases registered against him including 3 cases u/s 307 IPC and one u/s 376 IPC. Details about Arman Khan were being sought from Rajasthan Police.
