Southern Command Children Summer Adventure Camp 2024 organized by the Battle Axe Division of the Indian Army concluded at Mount Abu on Friday.

(MOREPIC1) The camp aimed at providing opportunities for creative and intellectual growth, adventure and personality development through a plethora of diverse activities. A total of 91 children which included 46 girls and 45 boys enthusiastically attended the camp.

They actively participated in a wide range of outdoor and indoor activities, including rock climbing, trekking, shooting, archery and other sports competitions. The camp not only made the children explore nature but also enabled them to develop diverse interests and create cherished memories as they managed themselves independently without their parents.

Participants were encouraged to cultivate innovative thinking, refine their natural talent and discover new hobbies. In this summer camp, the children were also exposed to activities such as yoga, public speaking, navigation and survival skills. They also got an opportunity to visit institutes located in Mount Abu such as CRPF Camp, IAF Station, ISRO and BARC.
