After three days of intense sessions exploring a wide range of topics related to “Vision and Values for a New Social Order- Role of Media”, the Media Conference hosted by the Brahma Kumaris at their pristine Gyan Sarovar campus in Mount Abu, drew to a close.

The last two days were filled with discussions on ‘Vision and Mission for a Value-based Society', ‘Manage Work Pressure with Pleasure’, ‘Spiritual Intelligence vs. Artificial Intelligence’ and a debate on ‘The Need for Spiritual Wisdom in Professional Discipline’.

While the solutions might have been different, the one common thread that ran through the speakers was that without spiritual wisdom, there cannot be a value-based society. Individuals create society, everyone acknowledges, and unless we have value-based individuals, we cannot have a value-based society. Values come from knowing the inner self and forming a deep relationship with God, the Supreme Father.

(SUBHEAD)Mrs Sampatiya Uikey, Cabinet Minister, Madhya Pradesh was the chief guest at the final session. She praised the Brahma Kumaris organization for its untiring service to the world.

A champion for women’s rights, the tribal leader noted that while ‘Women Empowerment’ is spoken about a lot, the Brahma Kumaris being the largest women-led organization in the world are a practical example of this. She congratulated the media fraternity for their participation in the conference and appealed to them to publish more positive news including coverage of such conferences, and of the good work being done to empower society through spirituality. “Take this positive aura with you when you leave here and radiate it into the world.”, she told them, “When one lit lamp lights up another, soon we will have an enlightened society, a value-based society.”

BK Shantanu, HQ national coordinator, Media Wing presented a Godly gift to the minister.
