CHANDIGARH PRESS CLUB HOST 14 DAYS CHILDREN WORKSHIP, ADC ANISHA SRIVASTAVA INAUGURATES

Every year, during the summer holidays of schools, the Chandigarh Press Club organizes a 14-day summer workshop for the children of the club members. In this sequence, the summer workshop started today, which was inaugurated by IAS officer Anisha Srivastava, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chandigarh.

While addressing the journalists on this occasion, she said that summer workshops are highly beneficial for the mental and physical development of children. She stated that more and more children should be encouraged to participate in these summer workshops, as this is the best utilization of time during summer vacations. She also appreciated the efforts of the Chandigarh Press Club.

Nalin Acharya, President of the Chandigarh Press Club, said on this occasion that the club has been organizing this workshop for the children of club members for many years. On one hand, children of the members get to learn and know something new, and on the other hand, it provides an opportunity for the children of the club members to interact with each other. He informed that approximately one hundred children have applied to participate in this workshop.

The club officials Dushyant Pundir, Ajay Jalandhari, Amanpreet Singh, and Ankush Mahajan honored the chief guest by presenting the club's emblem on this occasion.
