TOTAL 260 GRAMS OF FINE QUALITY SMACK/HEROIN, RECOVERED FROM HER POSSESSION AT THE SPOT.. THE WOMAN ACCUSED USED TO RECEIVE THE STOCK OF CONTRABAND SMACK/HEROIN FROM AN UNKNOWN PERSON AND FURTHER SHE SUPPLIES THE SAME IN CLUSTER AREA TO EARN QUICK MONEY. THE WOMAN ACCUSED IS HABITUAL CRIMINAL, WHO WAS PREVIOUSLY FOUND INVOLVED IN 04 CRIMINAL CASES OF HURT, EXCISE ACT AND GAMBLING ACT, REGISTERED IN PS GULABI BAGH, DELHI. THE ACCUSED WOMAN HAS BEEN INDULGED IN SUPPLYING THE CONTRABAND DRUGS LIKE SMACK/HEROIN ETC. IN ORDER TO REIGN OVER DRUG SUPPLY NETWORK AS WELL AS FOR LIVING A LAVISH LIFESTYLE.

In an endeavour to nab the drug peddlers and to curb the selling of drugs in the area of PS Gulabi Bagh and to keep close watch over the activities on drug peddlers and action against them, a dedicated team led by SI Nishant, comprising W/ASI Anju Bala, HC Pawan Saini, Ct Naveen and Ct Sandeep has been working relentlessly and developing information about drug peddlers, under the close supervision of Inspr. Shiv Dutt Jaimini, SHO/PS Gulabi Bagh and guidance of Shri Jitendra Patel, ACP/Sub-Division, Sarai Rohilla. The team also used to patrol in the area during odd hours randomly to keep a check on such illegal activities.
On 13.06.2024 at 12:10 PM, an information was received at PS Gulabi Bagh, regarding selling supplying of Smack by a women in area of PS Gulabi Bagh and if raided, she can be nabbed. The information was shared with senior officers and immediately after discussion, above said police team was directed to conduct a raid at the place information.
Consequently, as per the direction of senior officers and working on the secret information, the dedicated police team rushed to the place of information and after reaching there a strategic trap was laid down near Peer Ji Bagichi.
The continued efforts of the team bore fruit, when at about 01:00 PM, a woman was noticed, who was coming from Jhuggi area of Peer Ji Bagichi having a black coloured polythene bag in her hand. She was got apprehended through the team member W/ASI Anju Bala at the spot. After following all parameters, search of the suspected woman was conducted, consequently on checking the polythene bag, a light brown substance i.e. 260 grams of fine quality Smack was recovered from her possession. Later on, the accused woman was identified as Meena @ Minia, age 45 years.
Mr. Manoj Kumar Meena, IPS, DCP, North Distt., said on sustained interrogation, it further revealed that the accused woman is a habitual criminal, who was previously found involved in 04 criminal cases of Hurt, Excise Act and Gambling Act, registered at PS Gulabi Bagh, Delhi. She is a school dropout and has studied up to 5th standard only, but she is very cunning and expert in dodging the general people. She has been indulged in supplying the contraband drugs like Smack or Heroin etc. in order to reign over drug supply network as well as for living a lavish lifestyle.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 150/24 u/s 21/61/85 NDPS Act was registered at PS Gulabi Bagh and the investigation has been taken up.
INTERROGATION: During the course of interrogation, the woman accused Meena @ Minia, age 45 years disclosed that she had received the stock of contraband Smack/Heroin from a person named Nitesh, r/o unknown and she has to supply the same to the needy persons of the areas. Further, the accused woman revealed that the main supplier Nitesh periodically comes to hands over the supply of contraband drugs in the local areas and after receiving the stock of drugs, she further, prepare small polythene packets of the contraband drugs and then supplies the same to the local dwellers of cluster areas in order to earn quick money.

Subsequently, at the instance of arrested accused woman, raids were conducted at all possible hideouts of the main supplier Nitesh, but he was found absconding, however, efforts are in progress to nab him and to effect more recovery of contraband drugs as well as to ascertain the role of other associates indulged in this racket.
DETAIL OF ACCUSED PERSON: • Meena @ Minia, r/o Gulabi Bagh, Delhi, age 45 years. (Previously she was found involved in 04 cases of Hurt, Excise Act and Gambling Act, registered in PS Gulabi Bagh, Delhi).
RECOVERY: • Total 260 Grams of fine quality of Smack/Heroin. (Approx. market value Rs. 3.5 Lakh).
