HIMACHAL GOVT. ANNOUNCED GAZETTED HOLIDAY ON JULY 10 IN VIEW OF BY ELECTION

The spokesperson of the state government said here on Monday that in view of the voting for the by-elections in the three assembly constituencies of the state, Dehra, Hamirpur and Nalagarh, for the registered voters of these areas, the employees working in all government departments, boards, corporations, educational institutions and industrial units. July 10, 2024 has been declared a gazetted holiday for Daily salaried employees of these areas will also get paid leave on this day.

He said that the registered voters of Punjab serving in Una, Kangra, Chamba and Solan districts due to the by-elections in Jalandhar Assembly Constituencies of Punjab and the registered voters of Uttarakhand serving in Sirmaur and Shimla due to the by-elections in Badrinath and Mangalore Assembly Constituencies of Uttarakhand. July 10 has also been declared a special paid holiday for voters.

Special paid leave has also been declared for registered voters in these states who are employed in government, semi-government and industrial units. Apart from this, special emergency leave is also provided for the voters of these assembly constituencies who are working in other places.
