Manu Bhaker a student of Panjab University created history by winning a Bronze medal in 10 mtrs Air Pistol women category in the ongoing Paris Olympic 2024. She is the first ever women shooter to win the Olympic medal and first medal in Paris.
Manu Bhaker took admission in DAV College in the session 2022-23 as a student of MA Public Administration and presently she took admission in Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication for the session 2024-25. She is from Goria, Jhajjar district, Haryana
Meanwhile Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the renowned shooter, Manu Bhaker, for her outstanding achievement in securing a bronze medal in the 10-meter air pistol event at the Paris Olympics-2024.
In his message, the Chief Minister lauded Manu Bhaker for her remarkable performance and historical achievement, which has brought immense pride to both Haryana and the entire nation. He praised her dedication, hard work, and the perseverance that led to this prestigious accomplishment on the global stage.

The Chief Minister also congratulated all the athletes from Haryana participating in the ongoing Paris Olympics. He expressed his optimism that these athletes will continue to perform exceptionally well and secure more medals for India.
