Dr. Rajinder Godara, controller of examinations of Tantia University, said that there was a total of ten members in the team making the blood sugar monitoring patch device. These included people from Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and South states along with Dr. Ashok Kumar Yadav, Dean of Faculty of Nursing, Tantia University, and Assistant Professor Virendra Godara. The Patent Office of the Government of India has patented this device in the names of all these ten members.
University Vice Chairman Dr. Mohit Tantia, Executive Director KS Sukhdev and Registrar Dr. Vinod Kumar Sharma honored Dr. Yadav and Godara by giving them the patent award and congratulated them for this achievement.
Senior member of the team, Dr. Ashok Kumar Yadav said that after placing this device on the patient's body, it is connected to the mobile phone through Bluetooth. Due to this, updates of his sugar level keep coming in the mobile itself. A person can check it as many times as he wants during the day.
