The Indo-US Joint Training Exercise Yudh Abhyas 2024 successfully concluded its intensive 72-hour validation exercise, showcasing enhanced operational interoperability between the Indian and US armed forces. Conducted in Rajasthan's desert terrain, the exercise focused on counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations under the United Nations mandate.
Over the 72 hours, Indian and US troops executed complex tactical manoeuvres, live-fire drills, and joint air operations, demonstrating seamless coordination. The exercise featured Integrated Infantry, Artillery, Air operations, Counter-IED techniques by the Corps of Engineers, Tactical breaching, precision targeting, and obstacle-clearing drills.
