Kulbhushan Sharma, President of National Independent Schools Alliance and Federation of Private Schools, Haryana held a press conference in Sector 17, Chandigarh against Aam Aadmi Party Haryana and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal for making irresponsible statement of hooliganism against private schools. Talking to reporters, President Kulbhushan Sharma said that he has today lodged a complaint with the Election Commission against AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal for making objectionable statement about private schools.

He said that on September 20, during the election campaign in Jagadhari constituency of Yamunanagar, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal had accused private schools of Haryana state of indulging in hooliganism, which has caused resentment and anger among private school operators.

(SUBHEAD)The Federation of Private Schools has termed this statement as derogatory and inappropriate and has lodged a complaint with the Haryana State Election Commissioner and requested for action. He said that by making such a statement, the Chief Minister of Delhi has ridiculed and insulted the temples of education. His complaint includes taking appropriate action against Arvind Kejriwal for violating the Model Code of Conduct and banning him from further election campaigning in the state of Haryana.

He said that during the election campaign, Kejriwal made derogatory remarks against the Education Minister of Haryana and said that private schools in the state of Haryana are involved in hooliganism. He said that such allegations are completely unfair, irresponsible, unverified and based on distorted facts.

While advising AAP supremo Kejriwal, Kulbhushan Sharma said that we Haryana residents know how to protect our self-respect. He said that he should refrain from such petty politics. He said that by making such statements, you cannot take votes from the residents of Haryana. He said that the people of Haryana will answer this to you in the elections.
