In order to provide much needed relief to the Industrial workers working in the factories, shops and commercial establishments who are drawing minimum rates of wages, as notified by the Labour Department, UT, Chandigarh twice in a year, the Minimum wages for the period from 01.04.2024 to 30.09.2024 have been increased by the Chandigarh Administration with approval of Hon’ble Administrator after considering the consumer price index numbers received from the Labour Bureau, Chandigarh.
This revision of minimum wages will benefit thousands of workers working in factories and shops in UT, Chandigarh.
