On the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee conveyed vide letter No. 1/32(9)/2024-PD-7 dated 19.11.2024 by the Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi to the Chief Architect, Department of Urban Planning, UT Chandigarh, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to promote Shri Rajiv Kumar Mehta, Senior Architect (Group-A), Department of Urban Planning, UT Chandigarh to the post of Chief Architect (Group-A) in the Department of Urban Planning (Architecture Wing), Chandigarh Administration in the pay Level-14 of the pay matrix, with immediate effect, said Rajeev Verma, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh.
