NCC DIRECTORATE ORGANIZES ANO CONCLAVE AT CHANDIGARH VIDYA JYOTI EDUVERSITY.

The Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Chandigarh Directorate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) successfully hosted the ANO Conclave at Vidya Jyoti Eduversity, Chandigarh. The event saw the participation of 200 Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) from various schools and colleges, with Major General Jagdeep Singh Cheema presiding as the Chief Guest.

The conclave commenced with a warm welcome address by Brig. Rahul Gupta (Group Commander emphasizing the significance of training and leadership development in NCC Officers from the NCC Directorate outlined programs and initiatives, latest policies and instructions, Institutionalized Training Methodology, training strategies for cadets, promotion criteria and discipline guidelines for ANOS,

(SUBHEAD)A motivational session on Leadership and Personality Development was conducted by Brig Bedi from the Indian Defense Academy, inspiring ANOs to mentor cadets with a strong sense of responsibility and vision.

Major General Jagdeep Singh Cheema, ADG NCC, Chief Guest on the occasion facilitated 10 Associated NCC Officers (ANO)2 each from Chandigarh, Patiala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Amritsar for their dedication and contributions, including emphasizing the crucial role of NCC in nation-building and the need for continuous learning, leadership development, and discipline to shape future-ready cadets. He lauded the efforts of the ANO community in nurturing young leaders and strengthening the core values of the NCC.

Vote of thanks were given by the Dr DJ Singh, President of Chandigarh Vidya Jyoti Eduversity who hosted this ANO Conclave. He also shared unique programs offered by the Chandigarh Vidya Jyoti Eduversity as stronger and more skilled future youth of the nation.
