A significant MoU between the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the Brahma Kumaris was signed during the “Ageing with Dignity” event at Rashtrapati Bhawan. 

Droupadi Murmu, President of India, Chief Guest, highlighted the importance of collaboration of Govt. of India with Brahma Kumaris. In this exclusive event for initiating collaborative initiatives for the welfare and empowerment of senior citizens, the welfare portal for senior citizens and 5 old age homes of the government in different states were also virtually launched by the President. She said that the MoU is very important for senior citizens and with this their journey ahead will be very smooth. She congratulated Brahma Kumaris for making spirituality not only a tool for personal upliftment, but also a medium to bring social transformation.

The MoU was exchanged between BK Asha, Member, Management Committee, Brahma Kumaris, Mount Abu and Amit Yadav, Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Also present were Dr. Virendra Kumar, Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, MoS Ramdas Athawale and B. L. Verma and international fame motivator BK Shivani. 

The Brahma Kumaris delegation included BK Avtar, National Coordinator, Social Wing, BK Barinder, BK Vidhatri, BK Falak, BK Nikita, BK Neha, BK Dipesh, BK Ankita, BK EV Swaminathan, BK Girish, BK Babulal and BK Rajendra.
