TRIVENI PLANTATION PROGRAM ORGANIZED IN GOVT COLLEGE JIND, AN INSPIRING INITIATIVE TOWARDS ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

Triveni plantation program dedicated to environmental conservation was organized in Government College, Jind. The program was presided over by the Principal of the college, Dr. Satyawan Malik. On this occasion, District Head of Sarvajan Educational and Vocational Institute Abhishek, members of the institution Govind Saini, Dr. Manjeet, Ramkumar, Sagar Nagar, Ajay Sharma, Pratham, Vikas, Gaurav Chahal and many students and social workers were present.

During the program, a triveni of trees which are very beneficial for the environment like Peepal, Banyan and Neem was planted. Along with tree plantation, the message of environmental awareness was also given.

Principal Dr. Satyawan Malik said in his address that trees are not only the source of oxygen, but are the basis of continuity of human life. The college will always encourage such events, which are in the interest of both society and environment.

District Head of Sarvajan Sanstha Abhishek said that making the young generation aware about the conservation of nature is the need of the hour. Tree plantation drive is not just an event but an expression of social responsibility.

Govind Saini, a member of the organization, also expressed his views and said that sustainable development is possible only by maintaining a balance with nature. We should ensure that the plants that have been planted today are taken care of and protected with equal seriousness.

On this occasion, Dr. Manjeet said that the combination of science and nature paves the way for true progress. Such events not only increase environmental awareness but also develop responsibility and social sensitivity in student life.

At the end of the program, all the attendees took a pledge to take care of trees and make continuous efforts for environmental protection.
