CHANDIGARH PO CELL NABS THREE ABSCONDING ACCUSED

In a major breakthrough PO & Summon staff of Chandigarh Police under the directions of SSP/UT Chandigarh Sh. Kuldeep Singh Chahal IPS and Ms. Shruti Arora, IPS, SP City and in the supervision of DSP/DCC and team headed by Insp. Hari Om Sharma Incharge PO & Summon staff is able to arrest the 02 Proclaimed Offenders.

Arrest of Accused/Proclaimed Offender: With the help of collection of information from different sources (technical & human) and a day/night search. The following mentioned Proclaimed Offenders have been arrested with secret information of informer and all the sincere efforts made by ASI Bhoop Singh 1771/CHG, ASI ASI Satpal 907/CP, ASI Shiv Kumar 1366/CP, ASI Ram Karan 3001/CP, HC Ashok Kumar 1179/CP, Sr. C. Hardeep Singh 256/CP and C. Anuj Kumar 4665/CP.

The FIR No. 411 dated 02.10.2014, U/s 379, 411 IPC, PS-39 Chandigarh was registered against accused namely Sunil Kumar @ Surinder Gautam S/o Sh. Ram Sewak R/o # 566, Mahadev Colony Surajpur, Pinjore District Panchkula, Haryana, age 32 years. In addition to this case nine (9) more cases of burglary and motor vehicles theft are registered against accused

The present case was registered on the complaint of Amit Kumar Tyagi R/o 165, Top Floor, Sector-38-A, Chandigarh. He stated that on 20.09.2014 he parked his M/Cycle No. CH03L 0423 infront of his house, in the morning when he checked, he found his M/Cycle missing. Later the case was registered against accused. He was arrested and produced before the Hon’ble Court. After concession of bail he did not appeared before the Hon’ble Court and he was declared PO by the Hon’ble Court of Ms. Gitanjali Goel, JMIC, Chandigarh vide order dated 11.09.2019. The accused has been sent to judicial custody.

The FIR No. 164 dated 29.10.2020, U/s 13-3-67 Gambling Act, PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh was registered against accused namely Vineet S/o Rajpal # 225, Gali No. 8, Shanti Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh on the complaint of SI Vidya Nand, PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. He stated that he alongwith with his co colleagues was on round of his PS area, an informer informed that three persons were gambling near the parking of Shivalik Garden, Manimajra.

Later the case was registered and accused were produced before the Hon’ble Court. After concession of bail the accused did not appeared before the Hon’ble Court and he was declared PO by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Puneet Mohinia, JMIC, Chandigarh vide order dated 26.10.2022. The accused has been sent to judicial custody.
