SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND COMMEMORATES 11TH INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA

The South Western Command of the Indian Army proudly celebrated the 11th International Day of Yoga, reaffirming its enduring commitment to holistic well-being, mental clarity and harmony with nature. An enduring Yoga Session was organised at Jaipur Military Station with participation of over 450 soldiers and families. 

Under the leadership of Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, South Western Command, a week-long series of yoga-related initiatives were organised across all stations of the Sapta Shakti Command. These events highlighted that yoga is not merely physical discipline but it’s a way of life which embodies strength, grace and determination.

Commemorating the theme of “Harit Yoga” and “A Decade of International Day of Yoga”, Sapta Shakti Command emphasised on yoga’s timeless relevance in fostering inner resilience, emotional balance and deeper unity between humanity and the natural world.

The session at Jaipur Military Station was led by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander and Regional President AWWA Mrs BarinderJit Kaur. 

Commemorating the theme of “Harit Yoga” and “A Decade of International Day of Yoga”, Sapta Shakti Command emphasised on yoga’s timeless relevance in fostering inner resilience, emotional balance and deeper unity between humanity and the natural world.

 A notable highlight was the enthusiastic participation of all ranks and families across all stations in diverse terrain conditions, reflecting the Indian Army’s profound belief in the transformative power of yoga towards ensuring the wellbeing of human beings and the planet.
