While doing journalism in the new media technology and cyber age, there is a need for human sensitivities and realistic news presentation, this was the opinion expressed by the speakers present in the Washim media program organized on the topic of media in the cyber age and value-based journalism. The media discussion was organized by Brahma Kumaris Washim and Media Wing, Mount Abu. BK Swati Didi welcomed the gathering.
BK Shantanu Bhai, National Coordinator, Media Wing, Mount Abu threw light on the changes and new flows taking place in the media.
Dr. Somnath Vadnere, Maharashtra State Coordinator, Media Wing, called for doing journalism in the cyber age on the basis of human sensitivities and reality and maintaining the values of journalism.
In the inaugural address, Madhavrao Ambhare, former president, Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Patrakar Parishad, Mumbai shared his experiences on maintaining readers' trust in news in the cyber age.
