The National Student Paryavaran Competition (NSPC 2025) has set a new global milestone as the world’s largest volunteer-led environmental campaign for students, showcasing the power of youth in shaping a greener future.

Organized by Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), the campaign brought together lakhs of volunteers, teachers, and eco-clubs. With over 1.5 million students from 96 countries, the initiative truly became an international celebration of sustainability.

Telangana secured the top spot in participation, followed closely by Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Punjab ranked 6th nationally, with Amritsar district leading in the state, while Chandigarh stood at 7th place.

The remarkable success of NSPC 2025 reflects the rising tide of India’s youth-led climate initiatives, affirming that “HARIT – The Way of Life” is more than a theme . It was a growing movement towards sustainable living.
