Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, Chief Minister of Tripura, visited Swaminarayan Akshardham in Gandhinagar, where he was traditionally welcomed by the senior volunteers of Akshardham.

The chief minister received an introduction to the Akshardham complex and then performed the abhishek of Shri Nilkanth Varni Maharaj.

He visited the Nilkanth Vatika and was deeply moved by the darshan of the 49-foot-high metal murti of Shri Nilkanth Varni.

From there, he proceeded to the Akshardham Mahamandir for darshan, experiencing a profound sense of serenity and sanctity. He also greatly appreciated the mandir’s architecture.

Anandswarup Swami, Mahant of the Akshardham Mandir, explained to the chief minister about the global activities of BAPS.

Describing this visit, the chief minister stated on X: “Reached Gandhinagar, Gujarat, today to attend the International Conference at the National Forensic Sciences University. During this visit, I had the opportunity to visit the renowned Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple and engage in a wonderful conversation with Swami Anandswarup Ji. His profound knowledge and wisdom deeply inspired me. I have invited him to Tripura and requested him to be a part of our collective journey towards spirituality and growth.
