25 Punjab Battalion NCC, Abohar, conducting EK Bharat Shreshtha Bharat-I Camp on behalf of PHHP &C Dte/ Ludhiana Gp hosted an impactful interactive certified session on *Cyber First Responders* during the EBSB-1 Camp at NCC Academy Malout, which was attended by 450 cadets and more than 30 staff members.
The session was conducted by a distinguished panel from the United Service Institution of India (USI), led by Brig Vivek Verma (Retd), Senior Research Fellow, USI, Col Vivek Nautiyal (Retd), Senior Research Fellow, USI and Tushar Sharma, Co-Founder of TOFEE (The Organisation for Enlightenment and Education), in collaboration with the Cyber Peace Foundation.
Brig Vivek Verma, provided an engaging and interactive platform to educate cadets on Cyber Security. Tushar Sharma captivated the audience with relatable examples and simple illustrations, covering key topics such as understanding the meaning of Data, information, digital devices etc and maintaining constant cyber security awareness.
Col Vivek Nautiyal reinforced the critical aspects and emphasised their importance in today’s digital age. Cyber Security is a live threat which permeates across borders and the Cyber Safe environment contributes to National Security. Col Rajeev Sirohi, Commanding Officer of 25 Punjab Battalion NCC, Abohar, expressed gratitude to the USI team for their efforts in raising cyber awareness as well as certification of Cadets & staff
