HANSALI KHERA RUN 2025 KICKS OFF: TWO-DAY MARATHON EVENT PROMOTES FITNESS, FAITH, AND A DRUG-FREE PUNJAB

The Hansali Khera Run 2025, organized by Sant Baba Paramjit Singh Ji and the Hansali Sahib Trust under the blessings of Brahm Giani Sant Baba Ajit Singh Ji Hansali Sahib Wale, officially commenced today at Hansali Stadium, Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. The two-day international-standard marathon, held in association with Punjab Tourism, Paragon Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, Mohali, and the India Run Festival, is dedicated to promoting a Drug-Free Punjab and raising cancer awareness, while honoring the legendary centenarian runner S. Fauja Singh Ji.

Day 1 featured the Bib Expo, where runners collected their bibs and kits for the four race categories: 5K, 10K, 21K, and 42K. Sponsors showcased exciting displays of bikes and cars, including Suzuki, Toyota, Ultraviolette, and Triumph, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Sant Baba Paramjit Singh Ji Hansali Sahib Wale addressed attendees, saying, "Physical fitness and spiritual purity go hand in hand. The Hansali Khera Run is not just a race, it is a movement to awaken the youth of Punjab towards a life free from drugs and full of purpose. In memory of S. Fauja Singh Ji, we dedicate every step of this run to ‘seva’ (service) and the betterment of humanity."

The marathon tomorrow, November 9, 2025, will begin at 6 AM, with reporting at 5:30 AM, followed by a professional-led warm-up session. More than 4,000 runners are expected to participate, representing communities from across Punjab and beyond.
