55 UNITS OF BLOOD COLLECTED

To address the shortage of blood in hospitals due to dengue, Mukesh Chauhan, Managing Director of Media Mantraa PR & Advertising, and Monika Kamboj, Morvi Astro Vastu by Monika Kamboj, organized a blood donation camp in front of the Metro Store in Zirakpur in memory of their mother, the late Mrs. Sunita Devi. The blood donation camp was organized in collaboration with the Vishwas Foundation Panchkula, HDFC Bank, and the Indian Red Cross Society District Branch, Mohali. The camp began at 10:30 a.m. and continued until 4 p.m.
Rishi Shashwat Vishwas, Pawan Garg, Rakesh Garg, Sandeep Parmar, Dr. Prem Nath Bansal, MoniKa Kamboj, Anika Chauhan, and Dr. Kartik, along with other dignitaries from the Vishwas Foundation, were present on the occasion.
Sadhvi Neelima Vishwas, President of Vishwas Foundation, stated that 60 donors registered to donate blood at the camp, but 10 were refused due to health issues. The team from Blood Bank M Care Hospital, Zirakpur, under the supervision of Dr. Kartik Agarwal, collected 55 units of blood. HDFC Bank officials participated in the blood donation camp to encourage the donors, and Managing Director Mukesh Chauhan also donated blood in memory of his mother.
Mukesh Chauhan, Director, Media Mantraa PR & Advertising, stated that there is a misconception among people that donating blood causes weakness. Blood donation does not cause any weakness, but rather, everyone should donate blood at least once every 90 days. This helps those in need and keeps the body healthy. A noble act like blood donation is considered the greatest service. He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the blood donors and their supporters.
All blood donors who attended this blood donation camp were encouraged with certificates of appreciation and gifts.
