The State Election Commission, Punjab today declared the results of general elections to elect the members from 346 zones of 22 Zila Parishads and from 2834 zones of 153 Panchayat Samitis. In this regard, AAP won 218 zones, INC won 62 zones, SAD won 46 zones, BJP won 7 zones, BSP won 3 zones and IND won 10 zones in Zila Parishad Elections.
Similarly, In Panchayat Samiti Elections, AAP won 1529 zones, INC won 611 zones, SAD won 449 zones, BJP won 73 zones, BSP won 28 zones and IND won 144 Zones. District wise break-up of Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Results are attached.
