Keeping in mind the health and safety of children state government has ordered the closure of all schools till January 13, 2026. This decision was taken in view of the continuously increasing cold weather and dense fog across the state.
According to the official orders issued by Anandita Mittra, Secretary of School Education, all government, aided, recognized and private schools across the state will remain closed up to January 13, 2026 (Tuesday).
The order further stated that all schools will reopen from January 14, 2026 (Wednesday) and function as usual.
