PTR HONORS PARVEEN KUMAR OF INDIANAPOLIS FOR 25 YEARS TENNIS PIN

Indian American Parveen Kumar, from Indianapolis, was honored for 25 Years Pin with PTR Tennis during the PTR International Racquets Conference 2026, hosted at the sprawling and renovated Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, Florida. Jerry Christoforatos, Director of Racquet Sports for Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club, also received this prestigious recognition from USPTR.

  The four-day tennis extravaganza from February 13 1o 16 was aimed at professional development, innovation, and cross-discipline collaboration. Prominent speakers included former USTA president Katrina Adams, Grand Slam champion Gigi Fernández, coach educators Mark Tennant and Wayne Elderton, and leading coaches, sport scientists, and industry executives from all over the world.

PTR/PPR International Racquets Conference is the august annual gathering of industry. PTR/PPR Trade Exhibition during the PTR 50th Anniversary was another attraction,

Parveen Kumar has worked as assistant tennis coach with Marion University, head coach of Central Franklin High School and other leading coaching centers/academies. He is associated with the High Performance coaching program.

Besides, Parveen has worked as chair umpire/lineman in Grand Slams, including US Open and Wimbledon and ITFs, Dubai Open, Davis Cups and Federation Cups.

Recently, the PTR Professional Parveen, from Marion Sheriff Department, attended the 24th ITF World Coaches Conference, from October 29-31, 2025 at the SEB Arena, in Vilnius, Lithuania

Lithuanian Tennis Union and Tennis Europe co-hosted the ITF’s Coach Education Program, As many as 550 participants from 106 nations attended the ITF World Coaches Conference.

Meanwhile, Dilip Mohanty - Director, PTR & PPR India, Suresh Maurya - PTR Clinician & Master of Tennis, Nazneen Rahman - PPR Clinician and Meet Joshi - Dynamic Coach, PTR India from India represented India at the prestigious PTR International Racquets Conference 2026. The global conference brought together leading racquet sport professionals from 33 countries, making it one of the most significant international gatherings in the racquets industry.

The conference covered tennis, pickleball, and padel education and high-performance, professional networking, and strategic collaboration. Indian representatives actively engaged in on-court demonstrations, classroom learning modules, panel discussions, and leadership forums focused on the future of racquet sports development!

The presence of PTR India highlights the growing global integration of Indian coaching professionals and reinforces India's commitment to raising coaching standards in alignment with international benchmarks.

Speaking of the experience, the delegation described the conference as an "exceptional learning and networking opportunity" that will directly contribute to strengthening coach education pathways in India. The exposure to global methodologies, modern training systems, and emerging industry trends is expected to positively impact the trends is expected to positively impact the development of tennis, pickleball, and padel coaching programs across the country.

PTR India continues to encourage Indian coaches to pursue international certification, global exposure, and participation in world-class educational events to enhance their professional growth and elevate the standard of racquet sports coaching nationwide.

PTR India is planning to send an even bigger Indian delegation to future editions of the PTR International Racquets Conference.
