The Punjab Sakhi Shakti Mela organized by the district administration at Pratap Bagh, Fazilka has concluded. The main objective of this three-day Punjab Sakhi Shakti Mela was to help self-help groups, especially entrepreneurial women, and provide them with a platform.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Subhash Chander thanked the various guests and people who came to participate in the festival.
MR College of Fazilka gave a wonderful performance of solo folk songs, group dances, and street plays. Similarly, the group dance of girls from Government ITI Fazilka and the Bhangra performance of Sacred Heart School Fazilka enthralled the audience. Where various artists added color to the festival, renowned Punjabi folk singer Jaswinder Jassi enthralled the entire audience.

Entrepreneurs from different villages displayed their products to the fair and stalls of various types of dishes, handicrafts, handmade items, beauty products, various types of pickles, marmalades etc. and various swings were set up for the entertainment of children.
Sunil Verma conducted the programmes. ADC Subhash Chander honored the school children who performed various performances with prizes. Teams from various departments including Meenakshi Gupta, Shubham, Navneet, Kiran Kumar contributed to the success of the event.
