SIX AMONG TWO MASTERMIND, FOUR TELECALLERS INCLUDING  THREE GIRLS NABBED.. 01 LAPTOP, 01 PRINTER, 08 NOKIA KEYPAD MOBILE PHONES (USED FOR TELECALLING) AND DATA/LISTS OF DUPED PEOPLE SEIZED.

The team of Special Staff, South District has done a commendable work by busting a call center and arresting 06 accused including 03 females who were duping innocent people on the pretext of providing job in Airport Authority in case FIR No. 235/23, dated 06/07/23, u/s 419/420/120B/34 IPC PS Kotla Mubarakpur. Upon their instance, 08 keypad mobile phones (used for fraud tele-calling), 01 Laptop, 01 Printer, Pitch (speech to lure people) & Data of innocent unemployed people were recovered from their possession. 

The Special Staff, South District was briefed to keep vigil on the persons indulged in illegal activities in the area of South District. Accordingly, the team initiated sincere efforts by sensitizing local informers and collecting human intelligence.

Accordingly, the team members geared up information network and deployed secret informers throughout the South District area. On 06/07/23, efforts of ASI Satish Kumar bore fruits, when he got an important key input that an illegal call center who duped innocent people on the pretext of providing job in Airport Authority of India was being operated in a house at Wazir Nagar in the area of PS Kotla Mubarakpur. The input was further nurtured and a team consisting of SI Jay Kishan, SI Deepak, SI Dharmender, ASI Satish, ASI Ashok, ASI Jugnu, ASI Manoj, HC Pushpender, Ct Ashok and W/Ct. Meera led by Inspr. Dheeraj Mahlawat, I/C Special Staff/SD under supervision of ACP/Ops/SD was formed to bust the nexus.

Mr. Chandan Chodhary, IPS, DCP, South Distt, said, during the course of sustained interrogation, they disclosed that they were working with the fraud tele-caller office for 3 months and the office was being run in the name of NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets). They were duping people on the pretext of providing job in Airport Authority of India with high salary and other benefits. The tele-calling staff used to take charge people in the name of Application Form/Processing Fees Rs. 2,000-10,000.

Hence, a raid was conducted at 4th floor of a Building at Wazir Nagar Kotla Mubarakpur where four including 03 female suspects were found calling to lure people on the pretext of providing job. On enquiry, they could not produce any authorization document for running the Tele-calling office. Upon their instance, 08 keypad mobile phones (used for fraud tele-calling), 01 Laptop, 01 Printer, Pitch (speech to lure people), & data of innocent unemployed people were recovered from their possession. Hence, a case FIR No. 235/23 u/s 419/420/120B/34 IPC dated 06/07/23 was registered at PS Kotla Mubarakpur and investigation was taken up. All the accused persons were apprehended from the office, which was being run in the name of NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets).

The Tele-calling staff used to target people especially out of Delhi. They also revealed that 02 persons are the mastermind of the said fraud Tele-Calling Office and both of them recruited all the apprehended persons and also they used to provide the data of unemployed persons getting through their sources.
On the instance of the apprehended accused, multiple raids were conducted and 02 masterminds of the gang namely Ranjit Singh and Prashant Singh were apprehended from Gaur City Sec- 122, Noida and from Near Ghaziabad Railway Station respectively.

(Master mind), Prashant Singh S/o Sujit Singh R/o Gaur City 1st, Greater Noida, U.P., age - 28 Years. (Master mind), Yash S/o Rajender Kumar R/o Lodhi Road Complex, Near Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.3 females.  

The staff involved in good work is being suitably rewarded.
