The Global Operations Centre of Central Bureau of Investigation has coordinated with NIA and INTERPOL NCB – Abu Dhabi for return of a Red Notice subject Tarsem Sandhu from UAE to India on Friday

The said Red Notice Subject is wanted by NIA for terror crimes and funding of terrorist activities. CBI had got a Red notice issued against him from INTERPOL General Secretariat on 13.11.2023 on the request of NIA. Red notice was circulated to all INTERPOL member countries for location and arrest of accused. 

The subject was geolocated in UAE through INTERPOL. A security mission from NIA travelled to UAE for return of Red Notice subject to India. 

CBI as the National Central Bureau for Interpol in India, coordinates with all law enforcement agencies in India for assistance via INTERPOL channels.
