SUSTAINABLE PEACE AND WELL BEING- INTEGRATION ACROSS GENERATIONS DISCUSSED AT AT PU

The three day “6th International and 8th Indian Psychological Science Congress” was inaugurated today by Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The key note address was given by Prof. N.K Chadha, former Professor, Department of Psychology, University of Delhi

Chief Guest, Prof. Raj Kumar highlighted the importance of Psychology in every spheres of life in day to day works. The subject have highly applied value in management field, especially. He also highlighted the importance of peace and well being across generations. He stressed about the importance of without it noting can be achieved.

According to Prof. N.K. Chadha Sustainable peace across generation is only the way to make us happy and satisfied in these era of highly economic unbalanced development. We have never before relied so highly on the introduction of sustainable peace across generations globally.

More than 400 delegates across the world attending the congress and will present their research findings in the field of peace and well being across generations. The delegates from Psychology and allied discipline joined the conference from 17 states and from USA, DHAKA, NEPAL, VIATNAM, AUSTRALIA, MAYNMAR, AFGANIAN also join the conference

Mr. Matt Palerestien, USA and CEO of EQ4Peace stated that peace and well being missing from the daily, so the psychology people must work for that also.

Mr. Matt and Ms Puula Palesterien has been awarded with Dean International peace Prize for their significant contribution toward peace and well being globally.

Welcome address was delivered by Dr. Kewal Krishan, Chairperson & Associate Professor, Department of Anthropology, Panjab University, whearas theme of the conference was introduced by Prof. Radheyshyam. The remarkable point was also highlighted by Perel Stein.

According to Dr. Roshan Lal, the conference Director, “We have created a plate form where experts from the respective fields will place their views, arguments and findings, which will help us to make a good society with full of peace and happiness, besides, enhancing academic knowledge”. Certainly, society will be benefitted from productive exchange of knowledge and information and ideas out of the congress.

South Asian Association of Psychologists (SAAP) past President Prof Nasreen Wadud, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh announced new committee of SAAP for 2019-2021 and Dr. Roshan Lal nominated as president of SAAP for 2019-2021 and authorized to forms committee of the same.

Professor, Anuradha Bhandari, Department of Psychology, Panjab University proposed vote of thanks.
