CM URGES OM BIRLA TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO HIMACHALI'S STRANDED IN RAJASTHAN

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has urged the Speaker, Lok Sabha and Member of Parliament from Rajasthan Om Birla to intervene in the matter regarding students of Himachal Pradesh stranded in Kota and other parts of the Rajasthan. 

In a letter written to the Speaker Lok Sabha, Chief Minister said that in wake of corona pandemic, thousands of people including students and labourers were stranded in different parts of the country due to imposition of lockdown. He said that hundreds of students belonging to Himachal Pradesh were undergoing various coaching courses at Kota in Rajasthan and the State Government was receiving SOS calls from their parents.

Chief Minister requested the Speaker Lok Sabha to ensure proper care, boarding, lodging, health and emotional care support to these stranded students of Himachal Pradesh, so that the concerns of their parents could be addressed.
