Sh. S N Shrivastava, CP, Delhi visited various duty points and police staff residential colonies to greet them on the occasion of Deepawali. While the whole city is full of activity and busy celebrating the festival, police staff remains extra vigilant on duty away from their families to make sure that festive spirit is not disturbed. The Commissioner of Police interacted with field functionaries to show solidarity that senior officers stand with them as a family while they are performing duty.

CP, Delhi visited Asoka Police Lines and RK Puram police colonies and greeted the residents a happy, safe and prosperous Deepawali. He distributed sweets among children from police families and also urged police personnel and their families to exercise utmost care and contribute in containing spread of Corona virus.

He reiterated that we should all wear masks and practice social distancing and also motivate others to follow these simple precautions to fight the virus. He assured that the high command is concerned about maintenance of police quarters and they are taking umpteen steps to raise living standards of all our personnel.

It was also intimated that promotion related proposal is almost ready and they should expect the good news soon. The residents were elated with arrival of CP, Delhi and kids acknowledged his visit with thank you cards.On this occasion and Sh. Sandeep Goel & Sh. Neeraj Thakur joined other residents in thanking him for this noble gesture.

CP, Delhi visited Central Police Control Room (CPCR), Haiderpur and also interacted with field functionaries deployed at pickets and traffic staff in Chanakya Puri, Moti Bagh & Rajouri Garden area and distributed sweets and exchanged pleasantries with staff.

Spl CsP/L&O (South & Western Zones), Jt CsP/Western & New Delhi Ranges and DCsP/New Delhi, South West & West accompanied the CP, Delhi.
