PUNJAB IMPROVED IN SWACHH SURVEKSHAN : DR. RAVJOT SINGH
Local Government Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh stated that the state has made remarkable progress in cleanliness mission. He expressed immense pride and satisfaction that 46 ULBs have achieved water plus certification - the highest number amongst all states in this survekshan. 52 ULBs were certified ODF++, 43 as ODF+, and 22 as ODF. 9 ULBs made place in cleanliness in top 100 ULBs in country.

Two cities from Haryana have been nationally recognized in the Swachhta Survey 2024–25 conducted under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. In a grand ceremony held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, President Mrs. Draupadi Murmu presented the Clean City Award to Karnal, while Sonipat received the Ministerial Star Award for Cleanliness.
